The requirement to install InstallerProjects.vsix is first we have to install Visual Studio 2017. Just double-click on InstallerProjects.vsix, follow the instructions to complete. If you are confused please follow the following guidelines. a.) Make sure you have installed Visual Studio 2017. b.) Download InstallerProjects.vsix here. c.) Extract your downloaded results by right-clicking > extract here. d.) Double click on the InstallerProjects.vsix program, follow the installation steps to complete. If you have done these steps, then you will again be able to setup the installer in your Visual Studio 2017.
